Quick answer

Most issues come down to a setting. Below are quick answers to the questions we hear most. If something still is not right, your admin can check the relevant setting.

An allowance looks wrong

Allowances are set manually per person. Open the person under Users and check their Annual allowance. Only approved leave reduces the remaining figure, and bank holidays are never deducted. Use the annual leave entitlement calculator if you need to work out the right number.

A bank holiday is not showing

Check that Settings, General, Bank holiday region matches your location (England & Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland). Dates come from the GOV.UK feed and appear with a blue BH tag. They are never deducted from allowance.

Someone did not get an email

The submit, approve and decline emails are automatic. Ask the person to check their spam folder, and make sure they have an email address on their record under Users. There are no reminder emails.

A team member cannot sign in

They need their own login. Send them an invite from Users (Send invite), or they can use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Microsoft sign-in only works once they have an account.

I cannot book leave in the past

Team members cannot book past dates. An admin can add historic leave using the Add leave form with Skip approval turned on. See Enter past or historic leave.

How do I change a booking’s dates?

There is no edit-dates screen. Cancel the booking, which refunds the days, then book the new dates. You can also remove a single day from a multi-day booking by clicking that day on the calendar.

Why are weekends not counted?

Leave is only counted on your company working days, set under Settings, General, Working days. Weekends and non-working days are skipped on purpose, so they are never deducted.
